In the 1930 census for Los Angeles, Lee was listed as transportation manager for the Dairies Assoc. Then by 1940, Lee, Carrie, and Jane had moved to Glendale, Los Angeles, CA where Lee was listed in the 1940 census as a salesman for an automobile repair garage. The group photograph is a Christmas gathering possibly in 1910 at the Grandview, NE home of Henry & Mabel Pelter. Little Robbie Pelter was born in 1907. Pictured left to right are Tom Pelter (Henry's father), Walter Galbraith, Henry Pelter, Lee Bevier, Carrie Bevier, Lottie Galbraith, Annie Pelter (Henry's mother), an unidentified woman, Mabel Pelter with son Robbie, Lillie Sassenberger, and John Sassenberger. Grandview, NE is near Schuyler, NE. I suspect that the unidentified woman was Carrie Bevier's sister Blanche Passmore.
