Description	:	Lena Ehlert, 97, Webster City, died Tuesday evening, Sept. 3, at the Hamilton County Hospital; where she had been a patient for three weeks. Funeral services will be held Saturday; Sept. 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanhope, Rev. Neal Solomonson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation at the Foster Funeral Home in Webster City will be after Thursday until Saturday, when the casket will be taken to the church. Carolina Lena Boger daughter of Carl and Louise (Wolf) Boger, was born Aug. 27, 1894, on a farm near Denison. She attended school in the Denison area. She married Ed Ehlert on Jan. 19, 1921, in Denison. The couple farmed in the Denison area until 1933, when they moved to a farm north of Webster City. They also farmed in the Blairsburg and Radcliffe areas. In 1942 they moved to a farm south of Stanhope. In 1949, the couple retired to Stanhope. Mr. Ehlert preceded his wife in death in 1967. She continued to reside in Stanhope until two years ago, when she moved to Southfield Care Center in Webster City. She is survived by a son, Carl Ehlert, two daughters, Lorraine Groves, Eagle Grove, and Delores Arends, Webster City; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ben Boger, Wall Lake; two half sisters, Freida Rydstrom, Storm Lake, and Selma LaFrentz, Schleswig, Iowa. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Loren Ehlert and Robert "Dewey" Brown, who was raised in the Ehlert home; her parents, four brothers and three sisters:
