Description	:	Centenarian Lena Papritz, 105, of Akron died Monday, Dec. 25, 2000, at Akron Care Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron, with the Revs. Dan Stegan and Julian Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron. Mrs. Papritz was born Feb. 24, 1895, in Keystone, Iowa, the daughter of Hans and Cicilia (Heitmann) Willer. She lived in rural Akron, Plymouth County, Iowa. Mrs. Papritz was born Feb. 24, 1895, in Keystone, Iowa, the daughter of Hans and Cicilia (Heitmann) Willer. She lived in rural Akron, Plymouth County, Iowa. She married Paul Papritz on Oct. 10, 1933, in Le Mars, Iowa. The couple lived in Elk Point, S.D., for six years, then moved to the Pleasant Hill area until 1969, when they moved to Akron. She was a nurse maid and farm wife. Her husband died Jan. 27, 1976. She was a member of Pleasant Hill U.B. Church, and was Sunday school superintendent of Union County, S.D. She was also a member of Let Us Learn Extension Club. Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Mavis and Eugene Simek of Yankton, S.D.; three grandchildren, Lori Martin, Nancy Knecht and Rick Hansen; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ted Willer of Akron; and a sister, Louise Martin of Akron. She was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister. Pallbearers will be Lori and Randy Martin, Nancy and David Knecht, Rick and Melissa Hansen and Derek and Jennifer Johnson.
