Description	:	Leo Daniel O'Leary March 12, 1914 ~ November 4, 1994 Leo D. O'Leary, 80, of 1600 West Willis St., died Friday, November 4, 1994, at his residence after a long illness. Services will be 10AM Monday, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Lawrence McCarty officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Elk Point, South Dakota, with military graveside services conducted by American Legion Bert Smith Post 134 of Elk Point. Mr. O'Leary was born March 12, 1914, in Elk Point, South Dakota, the son of James O'Leary and Jennie White O'Leary. He married Frances J. Valle on May 28, 1946, in Washington, D.C. She died June 5, 1964, in Falls Church, Virginia. He married Lorraine Hagey on July 15, 1978, in Sioux City, Iowa. Mr. O'Leary was a Sioux City resident until moving to Falls Church, Virginia. in 1958. He returned to Sioux City in 1965. He was a maintenance Engineer at Holy Spirit Retirement Home for many years. He served in Europe with the United States Army during World War II. He had been a senior volunteer for the Siouxland Senior Center, a member of the Alliance for the Mentally Ill and of Mended Hearts. Survivors include his wife, Lorraine; five sons: James, Charles, Thomas, Terrance, Stephen; three daughters: Theresa Hill, Lynn O'Leary, Kathleen O'Leary; two step-sons, Robert Hagey, Frank Hagey; a step-daughter, Connie (George) Kueny; his twin sister, Leone Skelton; two grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances; an infant daughter, Frances and a brother, Raymond. [Source: Sioux City Journal]
