Born in Annapolis Royal, she was a daughter of the late William and Effie Ramsay (Lake LaRose, Annapolis Co.). Known as Vangie, she enjoyed many activities throughout her life, including curling (previous member of the Bridgetown Curling Club), traveling, gardening, she belonged to several bridge clubs, member of Bridgetown Baptist Church, the ladies auxiliary of the church and enjoyed all family events. She was predeceased by her husband, Allan L. Marshall. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Robert L. Hall Funeral Home, Bridgetown. No visitation by request of the family. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 19, in Bridgetown Baptist Church, Rev. George Neily officiating. Private interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Bridgetown. Family flowers only by request, donations in her memory may be made to the Mountain Lea Lodge Equipment Fund or Nova Scotia Lung Association. A reception will follow in the church hall immediately following the service
