Funeral services will be held 1:00 Thursday afternoon, March 23, 2017 at the Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, rural Monticello with interment in the Wayne Zion Cemetery. Friends may call after 12 noon at the church. Pastor Wade Reddy will officiate at the services. Goettsch Funeral Home Anamosa has been entrusted with Leona’s care and services. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence, a son-in-law Greg Stimson and 2 grandsons, Ryan and Zacharah, 5 brothers Don, Kenneth, Willis, her twin Leonard and Edwin and 3 sisters Henrietta, Wilma and Dorothy. Leona Kray was born July 17, 1932 in Cass Township, Jones County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Henry and Emma Weers Kray. She attended the Cass Center School and later worked at the Reliance Shirt Factory in Anamosa. Leona married Clarence Osterkamp on March 28, 1951 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Anamosa. He would precede her in death on March 2, 1987. In later years, Leona was a provider of in home healthcare for several people. Leona loved to play scrabble and work in her flower garden.
