Shawn Baird officiating. Miss Herpich died Thursday, Jan. 19, 2006, at the Herington Municipal Hospital. She was born Aug. 1, 1930, at Herington, the daughter of Robert Henry and Helen Crombie McRae Herpich. Miss Herpich was a teacher. She lived in California for 30 years and was a member of the California and Kansas Teachers Association. She graduated from Herington High School, with the Class of 1948, and received her bachelor's degree from Emporia State University and her master's degree from Los Angeles State University. She was a member . . . Herington. Preceding her in death was one brother, Don Herpich; and her parents. Survivors include one sister, Doris Floyd of Herington; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends was Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home and Crematory, Herington Chapel. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
