Description	:	Lester W. Moore, Sr., 70 of Mindenmines, MO died at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at his home following a long illness. He was born December 26, 1938 in Golden City, MO the son of Ben Lee and Ruth Francis (Hendrix) Moore. He attended area schools and graduated from Arma High School. On December 30, 1983 he was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Gall in Miami, OK; she survives him of the home. Lester worked for Heckert Construction as a heavy equipment operator for 47 years. Moore, Sr., 70 of Mindenmines, MO died at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at his home following a long illness. He was born December 26, 1938 in Golden City, MO the son of Ben Lee and Ruth Francis (Hendrix) Moore. He attended area schools and graduated from Arma High School. On December 30, 1983 he was united in marriage to Mary Margaret Gall in Miami, OK; she survives him of the home. Lester worked for Heckert Construction as a heavy equipment operator for 47 years. He retired in 2005. He was a member of the Mindenmines Christian Church. Additional survivors include two sons: Lester W. Moore, Jr. of Girard, KS and William D. Moore of Indiana; four daughters: Christie Cagle of Arma, Terrie Reynolds of Alabama, Pamela Sue Moore of Indiana and Angela Marie Moore of Topeka, KS; a brother Bill Moore of Carl Junction, MO and a brother-in-law Leonard Lake of Pittsburg; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Sara Lea Lake, Linda Hartman, Terri Moore and a brother Ronnie Moore. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Bath-Naylor Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Moss and Rev. Jerry Prince officiating. Burial will follow in the Englevale Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 pm Thursday. Condolences may be left at www.bathnaylor.com.
