Boynton of East Lansing, Mich., and Anne Boynton of Ferndale; daughter of Mrs. Hazel Robarts and the late James F. Robarts. Mrs. Boynton was a native of Ferndale, age 52 years. Wife of Ernest F. Boynton of East Lansing, Mich., and Anne Boynton of Ferndale; daughter of Mrs. Hazel Robarts and the late James F. Robarts. Mrs. Boynton was a native of Ferndale, age 52 years. She attended Ferndale schools, the University of California at Davis, and graduated from San Jose State College. Later she taught at the City College, Sa Francisco. Mr. and Mrs. Boynton were married in 1948 and she has been active with young people through 4-H club activity. Mrs. Boynton was active in the floral division of the annual Humboldt County Fair in Ferndale. Highly talented, she was involved with floral displays and in contests throughout the county, She often demonstrated how to handle flowers, and often taught the art of arrangements. Scriptural services will be held Wednesday, October 29, at 8 p.m. at the Chapel of Citizen's Mortuary. Funeral services will be at the Chapel of the Ferns, Citizen's Mortuary on Thursday, October 30, at 9:30 a.m., thence to Assumption Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas Devereaux as celebrant. Concluding services at St. Bernard's Mausoleum. Casketbearers will be Jim Cook, Paul Boynton, Joe Grinsell, Don Boynton, Fred Hibler and Keith Franks.
