He passed away from this life last Monday, November 8th, at the age of 51 years, 10 months, and 19 days. At the age of ten years he moved with his parents to Nebraska, in Loup and Greeley counties. He passed away from this life last Monday, November 8th, at the age of 51 years, 10 months, and 19 days. At the age of ten years he moved with his parents to Nebraska, in Loup and Greeley counties. He was united in marriage to Marie Anna Beck, on February 27, 1900. About 11 years ago he and his family moved to David City, where they made their home. His home was blessed by the coming of one daughter Jessie Opal. Mr. Rogers leaves to survive him his wife Mrs. Marie Anna Rogers, his daughter, Jessie Opal, his mother, Mrs. W. C. Rogers, of California; three sisters: Mrs. T. H. Hollworth, Mrs. Myrtle Leads, and Mrs. Mabel Hoffman, all of California; four brothers: Will, of Penn., Ralph in Colo., Glenn of Casper, Wyoming and Frank, of Wolbach. Mr. Rogers was a member of the Methodist Church at David City and was faithful to his church duties. He dedicated his life to the Lord last spring at a special meeting and took more interest in the work of Christ's kingdom. "Blessed is the man who putteth his trust in the Lord." Rev. G. A. Randall officiated.
