Description	:	Lewis Walter Wells, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wells was born in Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois, August 26, 1881, and departed this life November 22nd, 1930, at Sargent, Custer County, Nebraska, aged 49 years, 2 months and 25 days. Mr. Wells came with his parents to Custer County, Nebraska, June 3rd, 1896. He was united in marriage to Miss Louisa C. Bitters, in September of 1900. Read More	Lewis Walter Wells, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wells was born in Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois, August 26, 1881, and departed this life November 22nd, 1930, at Sargent, Custer County, Nebraska, aged 49 years, 2 months and 25 days. Mr. Wells came with his parents to Custer County, Nebraska, June 3rd, 1896. He was united in marriage to Miss Louisa C. Bitters, in September of 1900. To this union eight children were born, all of whom are living and were able to be with their father in his late illness. He, with his family moved to their present home west of Taylor, in 1919 where he resided till death called him. He united with the Taylor Congregational Church, on March 20th, 1921, and was a member in good standing and a member of the board of trustees of the Church at the time of his death. Mr. Wells was honored and respected by all who knew him and in his passing the community loses a good citizen, the Church a faithful member, and the family a kind and indulgent father. He leaves to mourn his departure, a father and mother, six sons, Earl, Ralph, Lee, Raymond, Ruben and Rene; two daughters, Esther and Ruby. His wife preceded him in death one year ago. Also six brothers and two sisters, who reside in the Walworth community; four grandchildren and a host of friends.
