Potter, nee Lou Holland. Deceased was comparatively well at noon that day and did her housework, along towards evening, she was stricken with heart failure and almost instantly passed away. R.B. Holland and Mrs. J.W. Feuquay of this city are sister and brother of deceased. The remains were taken to Hackney, Kan., for interment. The Chandler Tribune (Chandler, Okla.), Friday, May 31, 1907 Mrs. Lou Potter Dead. Mrs. Lou Potter, nee Holland, sister of R.B. Holland and Mrs. J.W. Feuquay, died suddenly at her home in Bristow last Tuesday. Mrs. Potter had not been in good health for some time but was not confined to her bed nor was any fears entertained as to serious results. A neighbor was at the house and was on the point of leaving. Mrs. Potter was about to commence some light house work when she fell dead from heart failure. Mrs. Potter lived for years in Chandler with the Feuquay family where she acquire a host of friends, wholehearted to appreciate her for her sterling worth. The Lincoln County Journal. The Stroud Star. (Stroud, Okla.), Thursday, June 6, 1907 Mrs. Potter, of Bristow, formerly Miss Lou Holland, of Chandler, died very suddenly Monday afternoon of heart disease. The deceased was a sister of Mrs. J.W. Beuquay, Miss Edith Holland and R.B. Holland, of Chandler. Miss Holland and R.B. Holland left Monday evening for Bristow. The remains were taken from there to Hackney, Kansas, the old home of the Holland family, for burial. R.B. Holland accompanying them to their last resting place. The deceased had many friends here who esteemed here for her lovable character, and her death will be sincerely mourned.
