Description	:	Lila Pencak, 86, of Genoa, Nebraska, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Nebraska Heart Hospital in Lincoln. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with Father Bill L’Heureux celebrating the Mass. Interment will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Krakow. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Sunday with a 7 p.m. vigil service, all at the church. Visitation will continue from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday at the church. Lila was born March 6, 1932, in Columbus, to Leonard and Lucille (Welch) Henggeler. She grew up in Columbus and graduated from Kramer High School in 1949. She worked at J.C. Penney’s in Columbus. On April 7, 1956, Lila was united in marriage to Richard Pencak in Columbus. They moved to Genoa where Lila helped with the farm work. She also worked as a CNA at Mory’s Haven in Columbus, and also worked at the nursing homes in Genoa and St. Edward. She was a CCD teacher and enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and spending time with her family. Lila is survived by her daughter, Ann (Larry, Jr.) Byrnes of Omaha, daughter Cheryl (Kenny) Jasa of St. Edward, daughter Carol Rimovsky of Lincoln, daughter Nancy (Ben) Eisenberger of Papillion, son Joe Pencak of Genoa, sonTim Pencak of Genoa, son Mike Pencak of Genoa, 11 Grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Lowell Henggeler of Fremont, sister Lavonne (Mike) Kaup of Columbus, sister Linda (George) Gottschall of Lincoln, sister-in-law Sue Henggeler of Columbus and numerous nieces and nephews. Lila was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard & Lucille Henggeler, husband Richard Pencak and two brothers, Leo and Loren Henggeler.
