Mrs. Wilson was born July 19, 1903 in Stillwater, Okla., a daughter of Riley and Viola Lindsey English, During her childhood, she moved to Effingham with her parents and attend Effingham schools. In April of 1938, she and the late Leslie Wilson were married at Hiawatha. They lived on a farm near Old Huron for a time, and later lived in Huron, until Mr. Wilson's death on April 15, 1957. Mrs. Wilson moved to Letts, Iowa, in August of 1067 to live with her sister, Mrs. Buelah Austin. She was a member of the Effingham Christian Church and the Huron chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors included her sister, Mrs. Austin, and a niece, Mrs; Charlaine Basket, Casper Wyo. Wilson, 74, of Letts, will be 10 a.,m, Monday at the Fairbanks-Lamb Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial will be at 19 a.m. Tuesday in the Old Huron Cemetery, Huron, Kan. Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Wilson died Saturday at Iowas University Hospitals after and extended illness. Lilah English married Leslie Wilson in 1938 in Hiawatha, Kan. He died in 1957. Mr. Wilson was a past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Muscatine. She is survived by her sister, Bulah Austin, with whom she resided with.
