She suffered a stroke last November 15, and remained in a coma until her passing Saturday evening, December 5, 1964, at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva. Read More	Lillian Leanore, daughter of Lucy and Henry Thompson, was born at Fairmont, Nebr., October 2, 1883. She suffered a stroke last November 15, and remained in a coma until her passing Saturday evening, December 5, 1964, at the Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva. She had reached the age of 81 years, one month and 11 days. She attended the Fairmont public school and was a graduate with the class of 1901. After graduation, she was employed by the Miller and Ross Drug Company and the Fairmont Telephone company. November 30, 1916, she was united in marriage to Willard Emerson Goodrich at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Goodrich resided in the Fairmont vicinity before moving to town in the spring of 1955. Three children were born to this union, Lewis Edward, who died in infancy, Herbert Thompson and Eleanor Lucille. Mrs. Goodrich's many interests included her garden and flowers. Some years ago, she enjoyed china and still life painting. Lillian was an active and willing worker in the Federated church, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She enjoyed her work in the Women's Fellowship of the church until her illness. She belonged to P.E.O., and was a former member of D.A.R, the Rebekah lodge and B.B. social club. Lillian was proud of her grandchildren and could easily be persuaded to produce their pictures. She and Willard had returned from New Jersey just two weeks prior to her last illness after a visit in their son Herbert's home. One of her greatest pleasures came from calling on friends and she never ceased being grateful that she was given the health and strength to do so. She is survived by her husband, Willard; her son, Herbert and his wife, Hilda and three grandchildren of Allendale, N.J., her daughter, Eleanor Songster, her husband, Robert and two grandchildren of Exeter; one step-sister, Alvis Hansberry of Longmont, Cal.; and other relatives and friend who will cherish the memory of her life on this earth. Funeral services were held at the Federated church in Fairmont at 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 8. Rev. Stuart Maynard officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith sang "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset," accompanied by Miss Linda Smith. Pallbearers were John Anderson, Federal Bridgman, Manford Cotner, Ralph Lefler, Ralph Lewis and Walter Moul.
