Description	:	Lillian Marie Sloan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Porter Sloan of Geneva, was born May 14, 1926, and her spirit took flight January 7, 1927, when seven months and twenty-four days old. Following a beautiful ceremony and song service, and a loving and appropriate tribute by Rev. Father Agius, at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the mortal remains of our loved baby were interred in the Sloan family burial plot in the Geneva Cemetery. The aching hearts she leaves behind are only comforted by the thought that she is “safe in the arms of the Saviour, who bids us “Suffer the little ones to come unto me, for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven.” “The Father had need of the loveliest bud, That grew in our Garden of Love, And He took her away when the year was young, To dwell with Him above. We had hoped through the days of the coming years.
