Description	:	Lillie Hattie Emma Koehler, 90, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska. She was born to Henry and Sophia (Brockmeier) Koehler on June 10, 1923. She was baptized June 24, 1923 by Rev. H.F. Grupe and confirmed March 21, 1937 by Rev. Iddo Heinicke. She attended District #27 and St. Peter's Parochial School through the eighth grade. She worked for several years doing housework for several families. Read More	Lillie Hattie Emma Koehler, 90, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska. She was born to Henry and Sophia (Brockmeier) Koehler on June 10, 1923. She was baptized June 24, 1923 by Rev. H.F. Grupe and confirmed March 21, 1937 by Rev. Iddo Heinicke. She attended District #27 and St. Peter's Parochial School through the eighth grade. She worked for several years doing housework for several families. Lillie worked for 48 years and 7 months at the Campbell Soup Company in Tecumseh for Quality Control as a meat inspector. Lillie loved being outside, being on the farm, gardening, canning, working with flowers and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Lillie and Alma received the Pioneer Farm Family Award for the Henry Koehler farm being in the family for 100 years. Lillie and Alma also received the Sunshine Award for being good neighbors. She is survived by her sisters, Alma Koehler, Mildred Kettelhake, Evelyn Anderson and husband Gerald, and Margaret Plager and husband Loren, and many nieces and nephews. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Leonard Koehler, sisters, Ellenora Caspers and Alvina Kettelhake, brothers-in-law, Wilber and Edwin Kettelhake and LaVerne Caspers and nephew, Dwight Plager. Funeral services: St. Peter's Lutheran Church, southwest of Elk Creek, Nebraska, at 2:00 p.m. October 19, 2013 with Rev. Robert Schermbeck officiating. Interment: the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Elk Creek, Nebraska. Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh, Nebraska.
