Rev. Lee Hicks will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Bisson died Sunday at Columbus Manor. She will lie in state after 1:30 p.m. today in the Gass-Haney Funeral Home in Columbus and from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Mrs. Bisson was born July 7, 1906, in Colfax County, the daughter of Samuel Mueller and Lena Egger Mueller. She was educated in the Platte County District Three School. On Sept. 14, 1930, she married Earl Bisson in the Evangelical and Reformed Church of Columbus. The couple spent their first 10 years together in Oconee and moved to Platte Center in 1940. Her husband died on Dec. 28, 1978. Mrs. Bisson worked at the Platte County Fair for many years registering gardening exhibits and also worked at the lunch stand at the Columbus Races for many years. She was a member of the Oak Leaf Extension Club, St. Luke's United Church of Christ and Rebekah Circle. Survivors include three sons, Carroll Bisson and Kenneth Bisson, both of Columbus, and Elwin Bisson, stationed with the Naval Reserve Readiness Command at Industrial Airport, Kan.; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Edward Mueller, Floyd Mueller and Walter Mueller, all of Columbus; two sisters, Mrs. William (Hulda) Klink and Mrs. Gottlieb (Helen) Abegglen, both of Columbus. She was preceded [in] death by her parents and her husband. The family is suggesting memorials be sent to either the St. Luke's building fund or to a charity of the donor's choice. per DON
