Mrs. Lillie Mae Wilhide, wife of Joseph E. Wilhide, died at her home in Thurmont this morning at 12:30 o'clock after having been stricken with paralysis on Sunday morning. She was in her middle sixties. She was a daughter of the late William J. and Nellie J. Diehl Freeze and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Thurmont. Surviving, besides her husband, are one daughter, Mrs. William Pryor, Thurmont; one son, Ralph Wilhide, New York City; one grandson, William Pryor, Jr.; two sisters, Miss Susie Freeze, Thurmont, and Mrs. Frank Crosley, Philadelphia, Pa., and two brothers, John and Howard Freeze, Thurmont. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the home of Mrs. Pryor, Carroll Street extended, Thurmont, with Rev. Charles H. Corbett in charge. Interment will be made in the United Brethren Cemetery, Thurmont. Willhide and Creeger, funeral directors." The service was conducted by Rev. Charles Corbett. There were many flowers. The pallbearers were: Charles Stocksdale, Samuel Bennett, Charles Imray, Ernest Hammaker, Roy Creager and George Trexler. Interment in the United Brethren Church Cemetery, Thurmont. Willhide and Creeger, funeral directors."
