She was married to Ed Smith March 15, 1893. To this union was born a son, Harold. Nine years later they moved from Missouri to Ong, Nebr. She was married to Ed Smith March 15, 1893. To this union was born a son, Harold. Nine years later they moved from Missouri to Ong, Nebr. After four years' residence there, they moved to their home in Nuckolls county (sic). She leaves to mourn their loss besides he (sic) husband and son, four sisters: Mr. (sic) J.S. Winston, Edgar, Nebr.; Mrs. W.S. Robison and Mrs. R.T. Alexander both of Fayette, Mo.; Mrs. B.A. Shaw, Rockwell, Iowa; two brothers: Eugene Moon, Edgar; Boyd Moon, Armstrong, Mo. Her father and the mother and one brother preceded her to the better wold (sic). When about sixteen years of age she united with the Methodist church. After moving to Nuckolls county (sic), she transferred her membership to the United Brethren church, where she faithfully labored for the Master, so long as her physical strength would permit. Soon after coming to this community she began teaching a class of children in the Sunday school. A few weeks ago she taught her last lesson to the same class, but now grown to young men and women. During her last illness while suffering greatly, she was heard to remark that she would not complain as her suffering was not to be compared to that of her Savior and as long as life lasted, she was patient, thinking more of loved ones and those who were caring for her than of herself. Her friends may be numbered by those who knew her and she was a constant inspiration to all to live this life gladly and to trust the Loving Father for the life beyond. The funeral was held Sunday and Rev. V.E. Shirley of the Christian church, conducted the services.
