The funeral was Thursday, June 14, at the First Presbyterian Church, Miller, with the Rev. Michael McCallum officiating. Burial was in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Lily Nora Marshall was born on April 22, 1919, the daughter of Vern Alfred and Ethel Mae (Phillips) Marshall. She grew up and attended grade school in the Vayland area. She was married to Percy Williams in Huron on February 29, 1940, and they resided on a farm north of Miller until 1985 when they moved east of Miller. Lily had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Miller since 1977. Survivors include her husband, Percy, of Miller; two sons, Lyle and Ronald, St. Lawrence; two daughters, Carol and Nancy of Miller; two sons, Lyle and Ronald, St. Lawrence; two daughters, Carol and Nancy of Miller; four grandchildren, Corey, Eric, Dustin and Julie Williams, St. Lawrence; three brothers, Francis Marshall, St. Lawrence, Alvin Marshall, Wolsey, and Lyle Marshall, Faith, S.D. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Eva Rowen, Viola Augspurger and Florence Ehrich; three brothers, Aldrich and Wayne Marshall; and an infant brother. Pallbearers were Duane Aymar, Jim Davis, Joe Oligmueller, Wayne Moncur, Roger Moncur and Ronald Blackburn.
