Read More	Stories L Linda Luke September 01, 1947 - February 28, 2015 OTTUMWA — Linda Louise Luke, 67, of 1301 Chester Ave., went to be with her Heavenly Father at 11:54 p.m. February 28, 2015, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. She was born September 1, 1947, in Ottumwa to Harold A. and Corinne V. Crowder Crumes. She married Russell Dan Luke April 10, 1971. A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1965, she attended Mt. Vernon Bible College in Ohio. She received her RN license from Indian Hills Community College and worked at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center and for a short time at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center. She also helped her husband at Albia Road Podiatry Clinic. She had been a member of Trinity Nazarene Church, where she had served as choir director and was very involved. Some of her greatest joys were her love for music, friends, family and being a grandmother. Surviving is her husband; two sons, Christopher Luke and Joel (fiancé Christonia) Luke of Ottumwa; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Cora, Gabriel, Suzanne, Alexander, Madeline and René; a brother, Steve (Camilla) Crumes of Ottumwa; two nephews, Cody and Andrew Crumes. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Loyd Osborn officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the family present from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospitals. Published on March 2, 2015
