He was 82 years of age and the immediate cause of his death was paralysis. Mr. Dryden, in his younger days, was a deep sea waterman and later was engaged in farming. DRYDEN Aged Resident Passes Away At Home Near Hopewell Littleton Whittington Dryden, died at his home near Hopewell at 11 P. M. on Friday, July 3. He was 82 years of age and the immediate cause of his death was paralysis. Mr. Dryden, in his younger days, was a deep sea waterman and later was engaged in farming. He was a man of many fine traits and had a host of friends to whom his death brought genuine regret. He is survived by three sons, William H. and Oval Dryden, of Crisfield, and Frank Dryden, of Louisiana, and one daughter, Mrs. Fletcher Cox, of Crisfield. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. William H. Nelson, of Matthews county, Va., and five half-brothers, A. Frank and Carroll Dryden, of Crisfield; Ira Dryden, of Waco, Texas; Elmer Dryden, of Houma, Louisiana, and Rev. Charles E. Dryden, of Buckeystown, Md. Funeral services were held at the home on Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. John J. Bunting. Interment was in the family burial lot near Hopewell.
