Roberdee, was born at York Prairie, Iowa, May 25, 1871, and died at her home in Tipton February 27, 1913, aged 41 years, 9 months and 2 days. She was married to Mr. Edmund Roberdee march 14, 1893. Read More	The Tipton Conservative, March 5, 1913. OBITUARY. Roberdee Mrs. Lizzie Belle Wingert Roberdee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wingert of Tipton and wife of Edmund L. Roberdee, was born at York Prairie, Iowa, May 25, 1871, and died at her home in Tipton February 27, 1913, aged 41 years, 9 months and 2 days. She was married to Mr. Edmund Roberdee march 14, 1893. To this union 5 children were born--Albert, Gladys, Pearl, Edna and Helen May. At the age of 20 she united with the Methodist Episcopal church at York Prairie and became an active worker in the Sunday School and the different departments of the church. Later, as the children came into the home, and being located at a distance from the church, she was unable to render the service of former years. But the truth of God and the staunch Christian character gained in the Godly home of her childhood and the gracious services of the church she was able to impart and instill into her own children the eternal principles of christianity. She anticipated with christian satisfaction the coming of the family to Tipton two months ago, in that again she would be able to assume her place in the church and the children to gain the advantage of Sunday school as well as our public schools. The chilly hand of death destroyed for her the planning in this particular. But the salvation in Christ opened to her the doors of heaven and she has entered into that home where God wipes away all tears and removes the anxiety of souls. He gives his beloved rest. She leaves to mourn her untimely call, her husband, father and mother and five children and a large number of relatives, all of whom have the sincere sympathy of the many friends. The funeral was conducted by Rev. A. L. Cook from the M. E. church Sunday at 2 p.m., and followed by interment in Masonic cemetery. The out of town relatives in attendance were: Hupp Tevis, St. Louis, Mo., Mrs.& Dr. Whitney, Eldora, Ia., Mrs. Anna Slogg, Wyoming, Ill., Mr. Geo. Wingert, Cedar Rapids, Harry Herbert and Frank Wingert, Cedar Rapids, and Edgar Wingert, Bennett. Card of Thanks. We desire to express our sincere thanks to our many neighbors and friends for the sympathy shown in our recent bereavement and for their many beautiful floral tributes. Edm. L.
