Read More	Source: Stanton Register, Thursday, August 1, 1963 Lizzie Friederika Marie Koehlmoos daughter of Herman Dahlkoetter and Maria Laaker was born in Arlington. Nebr. on Dec. 31, 1889. She died at her home in Pilger on July 26 1963, at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 26 days. Mrs. Koehlmoos was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church in the town of her birth and adhered to the profession of this church throughout her life, being a faithful and charter member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pilger and of the Ladies Aid and LWML at the time of her death. In 1904, at the age of 15, she came with her parents to Stanton County, locating on a farm north of Pilger. While living here she was united in marriage with Henry Koehlmoos of Pilger on Sept. 8. 1910 at Trinity Lutheran Church of Altona in 1 Wayne County. After their marriage they lived on a farm north of Pilger for 38 years. They were the parents of 10 children. In 1948 they retired to Pilger which has been their home ever since. In September 1960, they were privileged to observe their Golden Wedding Anniversary. Survivors include her husband Henry, four sons - Clarence, Adolph and Arnold of Pilger. Henry Jr of Mesa Ariz., three daughters - Esther, Mrs. Fred Heller of Wisner. Mrs. Arlene Pipal of Emerson, and (Lillian) Mrs. Leo Penn of Emporia, Kans., three sisters - Ms. Oscar Aurich, Gurley; Mrs. Edward Glaubius, Wisner and Mrs. Martha Aurich, Beemer, two brothers, William Dahlkoetter of Norfolk and Walter Dahlkoetter of Stanton and 22 grandchildren.
