Read More	Lloyd Eugene Craig, son of Lee Edward and Lucretia Kniffin Craig, was born on February 10, 1910 at Reynolds, Nebraska and passed away on January 15, 1982, at the Thayer County Memorial Hospital in Hebron, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 11 months and 5 days. He graduated from the Reynolds High School. He was united in marriage to Wanda D. George on May 8, 1939, and to this union six children were born, Leila, Micki, Kenneth, Anita, Lonnie and Alice. We was a veteran of World War II and served in the U.S. Air Force. He moved to Chester in 1973. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 935, of Redondo Beach, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Alice; one grandson Monte; and one brother. He is survived by his wife, Wanda of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Leila Forbes of Long Beach, California, Mrs. Richard (Micki) Smith of San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Kieth (Anita) Rieve of Tustin, California; two sons, Kenneth and his wife, Ruth of Hebron, Nebraska, Lonnie and his wife, Roberta of Belleville, Ks.; four sisters, Mrs. Juanita Gray of Wahoo, Mrs. Coleene DeFrain, Reynolds, Mrs. Estella Schoen of Ceresco, and Mrs. Grace Riddle of Reynolds; 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; several other relatives and a host of friends. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ, Chester, Nebraska on Tuesday, January 19, 1982 at 2:00 P.M., conducted by Pastor Lacey Joiner. Mrs. Frieda Truss was organist with Mrs. Wilbert Crouse and Mrs. Bruce Wilhelms singing. Casket bearers were Don Vostrez, Paul Mumm, Raymond Bowman, David Craig, Gregg Buchli and William Koss. Interment was made in the Chester Cemetery.
