Description	:	Thursday morning Lofts Casburn passed away at his home in north Exeter following a paralytic stroke. Mr. Casburn was a native of England and was seventy-three years old. For several years he was a farmer near Burress, moving to Exeter a few year ago on account of failing health. Besides his faithful wife, he leaves to mourn his departure, a son, living at Ulysses. ALSO: Lofts Casburn was born in Littledownham, Cambridge Shire, England June 22, 1851, and died at Exeter, Neb. January 15, 1925. He came to America in November, 1879 and settled on a farm in Pike county, Illinois, moving later to Exeter, Nebr. in 1884, where he spent the greater part of his life with the exception of a few years in Illinois and two years in Ireland. He leaves to mourn his going, his wife, one son, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and many friends. Funeral services were held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church Saturday, January 17, at 9 o'clock, conducted by Rev. E. Boll. Interment was in the Fairmont cemetery. Mr. Casburn had been around on the streets as usual as late as Saturday before his death. Monday morning he had a paralytic stroke from which he never recovered.
