Description	:	WILSON, LOIS ANN—Lois Ann Wilson was born March 8, 1914. She passed away November 6, 1936, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Wilson four miles east of Geneva. Her early education was in the school of her district, from which she was graduated, afterwards attending the Geneva high school. She passed away November 6, 1936, at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harmon Wilson four miles east of Geneva. Her early education was in the school of her district, from which she was graduated, afterwards attending the Geneva high school. She completed her high school course and received her diploma in June, 1931. The illness she suffered began in the spring of 1933. She had spent a short time in the state tuberculosis sanitarium at Kearney before returning to her home a year ago last May. She was given every attention that loving hearts and hands might perform. She was a patient, and courageous sufferer, always solicitous for the welfare of those about her. Her disposition was sunny, which was impressive to those who wondered at her optimism. These buoyant qualities were sustaining agencies during her weary confinement. On Friday last, she had seemed unusually optimistic and expressed her feeling of improvement. Her passing to the Better Land upon that day was unexpected and shocking to the home circle and to the many friends, a large number of whom she had made during her attendance at the Geneva high school. Lois entertained a sweet and abiding faith and her passing marks the conclusion of her suffering and the realization of that gift of peace which passeth understanding. The early passing of these two young people is shocking to our community and neighborhood, which unites in a most tender spirit of love and sympathy. Lois and Dale have passed to the land of comfort and rest. With this consoling thought, they leave in their passing, besides their devoted parents, two brothers, Kenneth, who lives in Geneva, and Leslie, who resides at the parental home, five sisters, Mrs. Irene Vogitanz of Omaha, Mrs. Opal Sladek of Exeter, Mrs. Ester Widek of Dorchester, and Jennette and Mildred, who are living with their parents; their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Kirst of Geneva; nieces and nephews, Frederick and Shirley Ann Wilson, Lawrence and Thelma Vogitanz, Janet and Jenelle Sladek. Besides these are a large number of relatives who reside in and about Geneva. The double funeral service was held at the Geneva Congregational church at 2:30 p. m. Monday, and was conducted by Dr. Edward W. Day. Interment was in the Geneva cemetery. Her brother, Owen Dale passed away the following day. They were buried the same day.* The Nebraska Signal, 1936.
