Description	:	Lois B. SUMMERS, Age 93, of College Corner, OH died Friday evening, April 27, 2007 at The Knolls of Oxford, where she had been a resident since August 2006. Born January 1, 1914 to Benjamin McConnell and Julia Anna Baither Black, she graduated from College Corner Union School in 1932 and married Eugene B. Summers on December 11, 1941. They had one son, Joel, in 1949. Read More	Lois B. SUMMERS, Age 93, of College Corner, OH died Friday evening, April 27, 2007 at The Knolls of Oxford, where she had been a resident since August 2006. Born January 1, 1914 to Benjamin McConnell and Julia Anna Baither Black, she graduated from College Corner Union School in 1932 and married Eugene B. Summers on December 11, 1941. They had one son, Joel, in 1949. Lois, a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother, lived her entire life in and around the College Corner area, residing on the family farm, where she was born, since 1953. She was an active member of the First United Presbyterian Church of College Corner. Following retirement from The Farmers State Bank, volunteering at McCullough Hyde Hospital became her passion. Lois loved baking her famous butterscotch cookies, feeding family and friends, and being outside taking care of her flowers and birds. She will be remembered most, however, for her giving spirit. She was happiest while doing something for someone else. Surviving are her son: Joel and his wife Anna of West College Corner; three grandchildren: Leah Summers Connell and her husband Randy of Lexington, Ky, Nathan Summers and his wife Chelsea of Oak Grove, Ky, Austin Summers and his fiancée Shannon Wright of Columbus, OH; two great grandchildren; Kaylee and Alyssa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, her parents, two sister and a brother. A celebration of Lois' life will be held at the College Corner First United Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Jason Bantz officiating.
