Description	:	Lois I. Bernadt, age 89 of Wymore passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019 at the Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center. She was born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on March 25, 1930 to Morgan and Dorothy (Eads) Vanover. On August 6, 1946, she was united in marriage to Lee Borgman. Bernadt, age 89 of Wymore passed away peacefully on November 10, 2019 at the Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center. She was born in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on March 25, 1930 to Morgan and Dorothy (Eads) Vanover. On August 6, 1946, she was united in marriage to Lee Borgman. To this union, 5 children were born: Roger, Twila, Diane, Steve, and Stan. After Lee’s death in 1976 she married Joseph Bernadt. Lois was a dairy farm wife, a teacher’s aide, and a caregiver. She was a faithful member of the Wymore Church of Christ. She was a foster parent to over 28 kids; taught her Sunday school class “Come Join Us;” helped with vacation bible school; coached softball; and enjoyed traveling. Her hobbies included making flower arrangements out of driftwood and playing piano by ear. She will always be remembered for having open arms to everyone and a compassionate heart. Those celebrating her entry to Heaven include her children, Roger Borgman and wife Rene of Norfolk, Twila Graham and special friend David Weir of Wymore, Diane Valentine and husband Paul of Beatrice, and Steve Borgman of Blue Springs; daughter-in-law, Gail Ropers and husband Randy of Holmesville; grandchildren, Ryan (Liz) Borgman, Reid (Andrea) Borgman, Rachel Borgman, Dolcey (Jason) Pankaski, Amy (Dave) Schramm, Shannon (David) Burgess, Shane (Jen) Saathoff, Seth (Erin) Saathoff, Stephanie (Chris) Belding, Whitney (Neil) Wolford, Kelsey (Tyler) Williams, Keaton Borgman, Kortney Borgman and fiancé Garrison Gustin, and Natalie (Brance) Boone; great grandchildren, Joe, Sara, Timothy, Mason, Ava, Brayden, Atley, Caydence, Landyn, Autumn, Gabby, Sydney, Trevin, CJ, Shelby, Evan, Emery, Colton, Calee, Charleigh, Lillianna, Emersyn, Cooper, Wyatt, Truett, and Landry; sister-in-law, Carolyn Vanover; stepchildren, Rosemary (Mike) Clements, Douglas Bernadt, Joey (Tammy) Bernadt, Brian (Michelle) Bernadt, and Bruce Bernadt; several nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Lee Borgman (1976) and Joseph Bernadt (1986); son, Stan Borgman (2006); sons-in-law, Shawn McPheron (2011) and Michael Graham (2014); and brothers, Richard, Jake, and Bill (Joanne) Vanover. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the Wymore Church of Christ with Clayton Lundstedt officiating. A family prayer service will begin at 10:15 AM. Burial will be at the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. The body will lie in state at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore on Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
