Burial will be in Tipton Masonic Cemetery, Tipton, Iowa. A luncheon will be served at the church following the services. Lois Lorene Yock was born April 29, 1931, in Cushing, the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Bauman) Yock. She graduated from Clarence High School with the Class of 1949. She married Robert Eugene Hartig on December 1, 1949, in Martelle. Robert preceded her in death on February 4, 1992. She was employed as a bookkeeper for Davis Implement for 34 years. She was a hard working devoted wife and mother, most known for her sweet personality, great sense of humor, listening skills and adventurous spirit. She enjoyed canning vegetables grown from her garden, camping, playing cards and relaxing in nature and was a Cubs fan. She was a great cook and baker, known for her homemade meals, coffee cakes, cinnamon rolls, fresh bread and pizza dough. In her later years she enjoyed coloring, playing card game, 'Double Down', and watch live stream church services on her iPad. Surviving are two daughters, Beverly (Patrick) Lawrence of Toddville and Janice (James) Welch of Austin, TX; one son, Gary (Dawn) Hartig of Tipton; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters, Rae Yock, Reva Von Muenster and Hazel Von Muenster and one brother, Robert Yock. Fry Funeral Home
