Description	:	Lola Marie Peters, daughter of William F. and Elda M. (Taylor) Kinnison, was born April 9, 1907, at Angus, Nebraska. She passed away Monday, June 26, 2000, at the Good Samaritan Center in Nelson, Nebraska, at the age of 93 years, 2 months and 17 days. Lola lived the majority of her life in Nuckolls County. She graduated from York High School and attended two years at York College. September 4, 1928, in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was united in marriage to Herbert H. Peters. (Taylor) Kinnison, was born April 9, 1907, at Angus, Nebraska. She passed away Monday, June 26, 2000, at the Good Samaritan Center in Nelson, Nebraska, at the age of 93 years, 2 months and 17 days. Lola lived the majority of her life in Nuckolls County. She graduated from York High School and attended two years at York College. September 4, 1928, in Lincoln, Nebraska, she was united in marriage to Herbert H. Peters. This union was blessed with two children, Jim and Doris. Lola was a former member of the Church of Christ in Angus, Nebraska. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Herbert, on October 12, 1964; one brother, Don Kinnison; and two sisters, Irma Holt and Velma Meyer. Survivors include one son, Jim Peters and his wife Shirley of Clay Center, Nebraska; one daughter, Doris Thornberry and her husband Larry of Nelson, Nebraska; four grandchildren, Pam MaGill, Vicki Ensign and her husband John, Brent Peters and his wife Bobbie, and Randi Thornberry; and nine great grandchildren, Tyler and Tony Peters, Gariv Thornberry, Jessi Sheets and her husband Trevor, Kelly Ensign, Brooke, Brigette, Breanne and Bryce MaGill. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 28, 2000, at 2 p.m. at the Klawitter-Price Funeral Home Chapel in Nelson, Nebraska, with Rev. Dr. Ralph Sturdy officiating. Music was "Amazing Grace", with Kelly Ensign as soloist and Carlita Price as organist and accompanist. Interment was in the Edgar Cemetery at Edgar Nebraska. Pallbearers were Brent Peters, Tyler Peters, Tony Peters, Bryce MaGill, Randi Thornberry, Gariv Thornberry, John Ensign and Trevor Sheets.
