Description	:	Lola V. Hoffman was born June 29, 1894 and passed away July 15, 1971 at the age of 77 years. She was born to Ida and Robert Marshall near Nelson, Nebraska on the home farm and lived in that vicinity for a number of years. Hoffman was born June 29, 1894 and passed away July 15, 1971 at the age of 77 years. She was born to Ida and Robert Marshall near Nelson, Nebraska on the home farm and lived in that vicinity for a number of years. Lola was married to Charles Wesley Hoffman July 15, 1913 at Ruskin, Nebraska. To this union three children were born, one of which survives, her daughter, Ila Hancock of Englewood, Colorado. Preceding her in death were her mother and father, her husband, Charles Wesley in 1960, a son Melvin Wesley in 1919 at the age of nine days and a son Eldon Hoffman in 1970 at the age of 57, also two brothers, Virgil Marshall in 1955 and Earl Marshall in 1957. She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Mrs. Ella Gerke of Sacramento, California and Mrs. Alma Hoffman of Portland, Oregon, nine grand children, 28 great grandchildren and one great great grand child. She also leave many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hoffman lived in Mankato, Kansas many years where she had many friends and neighbors. After her husband's death she moved to Englewood, Colorado to be near her son and daughter. She has been in poor health for the past three years, two years of which were spent in a nursing home in Englewood, Colorado. Services were held Monday, July 19, 1971 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Nelson. Victor Schwarz was officiant. Casket Bearers were Arthur Haidsiak, Ivan Gharring, Alfred Gharring, Bill Morehead, Cecil Morehead and Floyd Rouse. Interment was in the Nelson Cemetery. Relatives and friends from out of town her to attend the funeral of Mrs. Lola Hoffman were Mrs. Ila Hancock, Mrs. Eldon Hoffman, Mrs. Hugh Marshall all of Englewood, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Morehead, Denver, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hoffman, Portland, Oregon; Mrs. Sylvia Tinkham, Oshkosh, Nebraska; Mrs. Marie Marshall, Fairbury; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Marshall, Lincoln, Mrs. Mamie Farver, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carpenter all of Superior and Wanda Schultz of Lincoln.
