In 1962, they moved and ranched in the Custer area until 1984, when they retired and moved into Custer. In 1986, she moved to Western Manor Nursing Home. She enjoyed painting, gardening, crocheting and cooking. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church in Custer and Order of Easterner Star in Custer. Mrs. Tysber, 82, died Monday in western Manor Nursing Home after a long illness. She was born in Russell, KS. a daughter of George and Eva Heinze Dumler. She was raised in Sanders, Hysham and attended schools in the Huntley / Worden area. On Sept. 28, 1927, she was married to August Scheidt in Forsyth. the couple farmed in Sanders until his death in 1939. She then lived in Hysham, where she owned and operated the L & H Café. On June 18, 1953, she married Cecil Tysber in Billings. He died on Dec. 5, 1987. Survivors include two sons, Bill Scheidt of Custer and Irvin L. Scheidt of Billings; two daughters, Mrs. George (Emma) Kimball of Federal Way, WA., and Mrs. Claude (Charlotte) Chadwick of Missoula, MT.; a sister, Katie Metzker of Portland, OR.; 18 grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Smiths Downtown Chapel. Burial in Custer Cemetery, Custer, MT.
