Mr. Dumler, a resident of Custer for a number of years before moving here three years ago, was a maintenance worker with the State Highway Dept. He was born Aug. 7, 1894, in Russia and when he was 8 years old came to United States with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dumler Sr. The family first settled at Russell, KS., later moving to the Huntley Project, MT. Mr. Dumler went to Nebraska in 1916 and lived there until moving to Custer, MT. He and Molly Groskop were married Aug. 25, 1917, in Billings, MT. Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Herman Dumler of Billings, and George Dumler of Richland, WA.; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Potts of Custer; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Eva Dumler of Busby, MT.; five sisters, Mrs. Adam Metzker of Busby, Mrs. Cecil Tysver of Glendive, MT., Mrs. Mary Metzker of Long Beach, CA., Mrs. Christine Herbel of Hardin, MT., and Mrs. Eve Hert of Buena, WA.; three brothers, Fred Dumler of Greeley, CO., Rhine Dumler of Forsyth, MT., and Ted Dumler of Hardin, MT., and eight grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Smith's Chapel. Burial will be in the Custer Cemetery, Custer, MT.
