Description	:	Lorella L. Moomey, born September 20, 1919 was invited to heaven on February 8, 2012. Lorella was born to Henry and Elizabeth Obermiller and raised in Central Nebraska near Loup City. Lorella was the 8th child of 10 children and was the only living sibling at the time of her death. Lorella was married on July 5, 1938 to Bernard K. Moomey who preceded her in death in May of 2001. Moomey, born September 20, 1919 was invited to heaven on February 8, 2012. Lorella was born to Henry and Elizabeth Obermiller and raised in Central Nebraska near Loup City. Lorella was the 8th child of 10 children and was the only living sibling at the time of her death. Lorella was married on July 5, 1938 to Bernard K. Moomey who preceded her in death in May of 2001. They had been married for 63 years and out of that union their family grew to include four children. Lorella was preceded in death by: husband, granddaughters: Kelly Hungerford, Michelle Moomey and son-in-law, Clint Hungerford. Lorella is survived by: Sharron Anderson (Marlow) of Loves Park, Illinois, Dr. Larry Moomey (Judith) of Lexington, Nebraska, Brenda Hungerford of San Antonio, Texas and Bradley Moomey (Patty) of Alliance, Nebraska, 14 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 4 great- great grandchildren. Lorella was an active member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers Auxiliary and various groups and activities in her local church. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, knitting and gardening. Her gift of hospitality was always noted by anyone coming to the Moomey home. You were greeted with the aroma of "something wonderful cooking in the kitchen or baking in the oven"! Her legacy to mankind can be found in her nurturing spirit. Never one to complain, always there to help, Lorella's death is Heaven's gain. Burial was in the Alliance Cemetery, Alliance, Ne.
