Description	:	Louis Clifford Vaden Feb. 19, 1924 - May 26, 2012 Mr. Louis Clifford Vaden, age 88, of Westfield, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born February 19, 1924 in Stokes County to the late James Thomas & Emma Lee Simmons Vaden. Mr. Vaden was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a farmer and retired machinist. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret Simmons Vaden of the home; son, Norman Vaden & partner Pat Nifong of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Melissa Kiger, Teresa Everhart, Karen Kuebler and Brent Vaden; three great-grandchildren;... Read More	Louis Clifford Vaden Feb. 19, 1924 - May 26, 2012 Mr. Louis Clifford Vaden, age 88, of Westfield, died Saturday, May 26, 2012 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born February 19, 1924 in Stokes County to the late James Thomas & Emma Lee Simmons Vaden. Mr. Vaden was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a farmer and retired machinist. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Margaret Simmons Vaden of the home; son, Norman Vaden & partner Pat Nifong of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Melissa Kiger, Teresa Everhart, Karen Kuebler and Brent Vaden; three great-grandchildren; brother, Marion Vaden & wife Lolene of Westfield, NC; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Kenneth Cary Beasley. In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaden was preceded in death by his sisters, Ludie Vertie Vaden & Lucy Mertie Vaden and brothers, Reid, Coy, Arthur, Nera, Jefforey & Harry Vaden. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Howell-Nelson Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Eddie Carter with interment to follow at Brown Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery with full military rites to be conducted by VFW Memorial Honor Guard Post # 2019 of Mount Airy & Post # 9436 of Pilot Mountain. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Howell-Nelson Funeral Service of Pilot Mountain. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. The family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice.
