Description	:	Louis H. Blunck, 62, passed away after a lingering illness at the General Hospital in Plainview at 4:00 p.m., June 17, 1950. Funeral services were conducted at the Methodist Church, Creighton at 2:00 p.m., Monday with burial in Eden Valley Cemetery. Pall bearers were Harry Springer, Harold Blunck, Kenneth Blunck, Elwood Blunck, Palmer Albeck and Ferdinand Blohm. Louis Henry Blunck was born September 23, 1887, in Wall Lake, Iowa, the son of August and Dorothea (Sienknecht) Blunck. Most of his childhood days were spent on the family farm four miles northwest of Osmond. He married Dora Pruess on February 12, 1914, in Pierce. They lived on a farm throughout their married life, moving in 1919 to a farm in Kemma Community, northeast of Creighton, where they lived to the time of his death. Surviving are his wife, Dora; one daughter, Mildred Blunck; one son, Louis Blunck, both at home; five brothers, John, Joe, Carl and Henry Blunck, all of Osmond and William Blunck of Wausa; four sisters, Mrs. Augusta Springer, Mrs. Marie Blohm, Mrs. Ella Albers and Mrs. Paul Buol, all of Osmond; besides nieces, nephews and friends.
