Description	:	Funeral services were held at Osmond United Methodist Church February 27, for Willie Blunck, who passed away February 24, in the Osmond Hospital after a short illness. Rev. R. Hervey Porter officiated at the last rites and burial was in the Eden Valley Cemetery. Pallbearers were nephews, Louis Blunck, Elwood Blunck, Norman Blunck, Kenneth Blunck, Vernon Buol and Palmer Albers. Willie Henry Blunck was born March 14, 1891, in Wall Lake, Iowa, the son of August and Caroline Blunck. He moved with his parents to the Osmond vicinity when he was two years old and grew to manhood on the family farm northwest of Osmond. In 1916, he moved to a farm in Knox County, where he lived for 56 years. He married Ella Pruess on April 18, 1917, at the home of the bride. He is survived by his wife, Ella; two daughters, Edna (Wendell) Rohrberg of Osmond, LaVerne (Marvin) Schlake of McLean; two sons, Harold Blunck of Doniphan and Lawrence Blunck of Osmond; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe and Henry Blunck, both of Osmond; and two sisters, Ella Abers and Anna Buol. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin infant sons in infancy, three brothers, Louie, Carl and John Blunck, and two sisters, Mrs. Augusta Springer and Mrs. Marie Schneckloth.
