Read More	Popular Owner Of Restaurant Dies In Hospital Pending arrangement of services, the body of Louis (Louie) Daley, 53, widely-known North Lima restaurant owner who died Wednesday afternoon in Memorial hospital, has been taken to the 523 N. West-st home. The popular operator of "Louie's Nite Club," N. Main-st at McKibben, died after an illness of eight months. He had contracted pneumonia last winter and failed to recover from that illness. A native of Arinzo, province of Naples, Italy, Daley came to this country when he was 16 years old. After living in New Haven, Conn., and later in Cincinnati for a three year period, Daley moved to Lima. For the last 34 years, he had been a resident of this city. For many years he was employed in railroad construction work by the old C. H. & D. railroad, later the B. & O. system. In recent years he worked at the Lima Cord Sole and Heel Co., until ill health compelled his retirement. A member of St. Rose Catholic church, Daley belonged to the Holy Name society. He also held membership in the Christopher Columbus society. Daley was well known for his charitable activities. Surviving are his widow, Rose, and his father, Carmine Daley, of Naples. Seven daughters and four sons also survive. They are: Mrs. Raymond Musto, 514 1/2 N. Main-st; Mrs. James Sarno of Findlay-rd; Miss Mary Lou Daley, Anna Margaret, Rosalyn, Janet Louise and Patricia Joan, all of the N. West-st home; Alphonse Daley, 772 W. Wayne-st; Ferdinand, Thomas and Louis Daley, Jr., all of N. West-st. Likewise surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mary Maione, of Naples; two brothers, Ralph of Detroit and Anthony Daley, Naples, and four grandchildren. Requiem high mass will be sung Saturday, with Rev. Msgr. James S. Elder as celebrant. Time of service will be set later. Burial will be in the family lot in Gethsemane cemetery. O'Connell and Doolin mortuary is in charge of the funeral.
