There is no findagrave record for Louisa's husband, William Powell. Further-William Powell Sargent, Co. C, 11th Ohio Cavalry The 'United States Records of Headstones of Deceased Union Veterans, 1879-1903' on familysearch records his burial in South Charleston, but I'm not sure which cemetery (probably Greenlawn). The 1890 census lists Louis M as his widow. Further-December 8, 1885 Xenia Daily Gazette Mention has already been made of the fact that the entire family of Mr. Wm. Powell, father, mother and six children living at Dolly Verden, near South Charleston, were prostrated with typhoid fever, and that the youngest child had died of the disease. Friday morning the husband and father breathed his last and the remains were buried Saturday. He was an old resident of Clark county and member of Vienna Lodge of Old Fellows. It is now thought all will recover, one or two being able to sit up. There is great sympathy for the stricken household. ==============================
