Imm, 95, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Brookshire House in Denver, Colorado. She was born on April 16, 1915, at St. Michael, Nebraska, the second of three children born to Edwin and Martha (Stuber) Hunsberger. She received her primary education from a rural school and then graduated from Shelton, Nebraska High School with the class of 1932. After graduation, she pursued higher education and attended the Hastings Business College at Hastings, Nebraska. On August 31, 1942, Louise was united in marriage to Elton W. Imm and to this union one daughter, Linda Lou was born. The family first made their home in Holdrege and then in 1943 they moved to Colorado. Elton passed away on October 23, 1973. Louise was employed as a secretary for the Colorado Education Association until her retirement. She enjoyed music, singing in the church choir, gardening, sewing, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends. Besides her parents and husband, Elton, Louise was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Lou Imm; and two sisters: Mable in infancy and Leona Liggett. She leaves to mourn her passing her nieces, including: Janice Bombeck and her husband, Lynn of Shelton, and Patricia Stienike and her husband, Don of Fremont, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Harold Liggett and his wife, Agnes of Kearney, Nebraska and a host of nephews, other relatives and friends.
