Dec 9, 1948 - Carroll Daily Times - Miss Louisa Ludwig died unexpectedly of a heart attack about 8:30 last night at her home, 815 North Main street. Her body was found by her brother, Charles Ludwig, jr., owner and manager of the Parkview Roller Skating Palace, when he returned home from work. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday at SS. Peter and Paul's church, with the Rev. Fr. Lambert Schenkelberg offering the requiem mass. Burial will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery. The body is resting at the Sharp Funeral home, where the rosary will be prayed at 8 o'clock each night before the final rites. The Rev. Fr. Schenkelberg will lead the prayers Sunday evening. Miss Ludwig, who was 56 years old died in the home in which she was born July 12, 1892. She was a daughter of the late Charles II and Elizabeth Ludwig. Her father was a pioneer merchant here. After attending SS. Peter and Paul's school. Miss Ludwig remained at home with her parents. Following their deaths, she kept house for her brother, Charles jr., who is her only survivor. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, Will and Eddie, and an infant sister. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul's church.
