The Rev. Frederick Brown officiated with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids. The soloist, Mrs. Paul Schmidt, sang "The Lord's Prayer" and "Lead Me Gently Home, Father," accompanied on the organ by Walter Simonsen. Casket bearers were Barry Hoover, Brooke Hoover, Jeff Hoover, Craig Hejlik, Mitch Forry and Galen Maiden. The Rev. Frederick Brown officiated with burial in Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids. Casket bearers were Barry Hoover, Brooke Hoover, Jeff Hoover, Craig Hejlik, Mitch Forry and Galen Maiden. Warner was born Oct. 4, 1885 near Webb, the daughter of William and Matilda Collins Morris. She moved with her family to Sioux Rapids at an early age, where she attended grade school, later moving to Marathon and Iowa Falls. She married Ernest E. Belknap on July 15, 1906, and they farmed near Webb until 1920, when they moved to Webb. He preceded her in death in 1921. In 1926, she moved to Spencer, where she married Charles Warner on June 14, 1928. They farmed in the Spirit Lake area until 1946, when they retired and moved to Clear Lake. After her husband's death in 1960, she moved to Orange, California, where she lived with her daughter, Wilda, until March 31, 1981, when she returned to Sioux Rapids and entered the Sioux Care Center. Warner died Wednesday at the care center. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Ernest and Charles; one step daughter, Elfie Belknap Johnson; four brothers, Jesse, Charles, Robert and Arthur Morris; one sister, Minnie Derbyshire; and two sons-in-law, John Curry and Raymond Hoover. Survivors include three daughters, Wilda Curry of Orange, California, Dorothy Hoover of Sioux Rapids and Mrs. Catherine Schober of Clear Lake; one brother, Al Morris of Superior; 14 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.
