Businger, 94, of Hicksville, died Friday, April 13, 2012 at Community Health Professionals In-patient Hospice, Defiance, Ohio He was born on November 24, 1917 in Hancock County, Ohio, the son of William and Leona (Lindsey) Businger. On February 17, 1945, he was united in marriage to Helen Switzer and she preceded him in death on January 19, 2009. Lowell was a life long farmer. He was a member of the First Church of Christ, Hicksville. He is survived by two daughters, Roxann (Larry Wonderly) Mosier, Sandra (Joe) Sanders, all of Hicksville, (11) grandchildren, (13) great grandchildren, a brother William Businger , two sisters, Estella Balser and Delores Volkert. He was preceded in death by a son Terry, four sisters, two brothers and two infant brothers. Graveside service for Lowell will be held Wednesday at 11:00 at Six Corners Cemetery, Hicksville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 at Smith & Brown Funeral Home, Hicksville. Memorials may be made to CHP Hospice.
