Funeral services were held at the home Saturday, June 26th, 1915 at 10 a.m. conducted by Rev. R.A. Grigsby of Winterset, Iowa. Interment took place at the Webb cemetery. # # # July 1, 1915 Advocate – Tribune Indianola, Ia Mt. Hope – Joe Higens and wife received the sad news last Thursday of the death of their little grandson, the only son of Sherman Higens and wife. The child had been sick with pneumonia but had apparently recovered when it was suddenly taken worse and died in a few hours. The family have the sympathy of the community in giving up the dear babe.
