Description	:	August 30, 1956 Record-Herald & Indianola Tribune Sherman Higens, son of Joseph and Margaret Johnson Higens, was born in Spring Hill, Oct. 3, 1883, and died at his farm home near Spring Hill Aug. 13, 1956, after a lengthy illness. He spent his entire life in Warren county as a farmer near Spring Hill. He was united in marriage to Eva Brubaker March 19, 1902 at Indianola, and to this union three children were born – Inez, Margaret and Lloyd Harland [Harlan].
