Her parents were George Duff Owens and Emma Jane (Janie) Garner. Her parents were George Duff Owens and Emma Jane (Janie) Garner. She had no sisters, but three brothers, Hunter Robert Owens, William Alvin Owens, and Melvin Owens (who died at less than two years old in 1902). Lucia and Frank had four sons. Granny died on August 9, 1994, just a week shy of her 93rd birthday. She was sweet and kind and all the things a mother and grandmother should be.
