She was born on August 15, 1915, in Beatrice to Otto and Minnie (Paul) Kaminska, and was a graduate of Beatrice High School. She married Rhen Dobbs on September 28, 1935. Dobbs, 98 years of age, of Crete, Nebraska, formerly of Beatrice, Nebraska, passed away at the Tabitha Nursing Center in Crete Wednesday afternoon, August 21, 2013. She was born on August 15, 1915, in Beatrice to Otto and Minnie (Paul) Kaminska, and was a graduate of Beatrice High School. She married Rhen Dobbs on September 28, 1935. Lucile lived in Beatrice her entire life until moving to Crete in 2005. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Crete and the Mary’s Circle. Lucile was a former member of the Christ Church Episcopal and the Altar Guild, Eastern Star, and the Arts and Craft Club, all in Beatrice. She enjoyed playing bridge, golfing, and bowling. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jeanne L. Drevo and husband Marvin of Crete, and Janice L. Waltke and husband Walter of Lincoln, Nebraska; 7 grandchildren Jennifer Fager, Susan Fager, Jill McCook and husband Al, Allen Waltke and wife Suzi, Tom Waltke and wife Elizabeth, Cody Drevo and wife Lesley and family, and Sheryl Bray and husband Steve and family; 9 great grandchildren Tyler Hall and wife Marrisa, Morgan, Hannah and Marc Jones, Mason, Duncan, Ryker, Zachary and Zoe Waltke; great great grandson Oliver Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Minnie (Paul) Kaminska; husband Rhen Dobbs (1977); 2 brothers and 6 sisters; grandson Timothy Drevo; and great grandson Ian Waltke. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 29, 2013 at the Grace United Methodist Church in Crete with Dr. Wayne Reynolds officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. A family prayer service will be held at 10:45 A.M. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to the Grace United Methodist Church and the Tabitha Nursing Center in Crete with the funeral home in charge. The body will lie in state from 4-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel in Beatrice with the family greeting friends from 6-8:00, and at the church from 9-11:00 A.M. Thursday.
