Description	:	Lucile M. Linde, eldest daughter of Albert and Mary Linde, was born on a farm northwest of Geneva February 1, 1918. She passed away May 20, 1961, at Geneva at the age of 43 years, 3 months and 19 days. She attended school at District 7 near Geneva. Linde, eldest daughter of Albert and Mary Linde, was born on a farm northwest of Geneva February 1, 1918. She passed away May 20, 1961, at Geneva at the age of 43 years, 3 months and 19 days. She attended school at District 7 near Geneva. In 1943 she moved to California, where she took employment as a machinist at the Lockheed Aircraft Factory. While she was working at the factory, she was united in marriage to Forrest Swails of Geneva. In 1946, Mr. and Mrs. Swails returned to Geneva, where Mr. Swails was associated with his father, the late L. O. Swails, in the grocery business. In 1951, they moved to Batesville, Ark., where Mrs. Swails became a member of the Desha Baptist Church by baptism at Desha. In 1953, the family moved back to Geneva and Mrs. Swails transferred her church membership to the Geneva Baptist Church. Shortly after their return to Geneva, they took up farming. At the time of her death, they were living on the home place west of Geneva. Mrs. Swails became ill several weeks ago and recently underwent surgery. Although she came through surgery satisfactorily and was released from the hospital, her condition became serious and she re-entered the hospital, where death occurred. Surviving are her husband, Forrest; two sons, Leon and LeRoy; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Linde of Jonesboro, Ark.; two brothers, Gene and David Linde; two sisters, Mrs. Murray Holmes of Geneva and Mrs. William Hanes of Kingsport, Tenn., and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, May 22, at 2 p.m. at the Kritner-Farmer Funeral Home in Geneva, with Rev. George Inman officiating. Ralph Reemts sang “Ivory Palaces” and “in the Garden,” accompanied by Mrs. Willard Foster. Pallbearers were George Bordner, John Bures, Richard Chaney, Tom Ewalt, George Schropfer and Tony Wilson. Interment was in the Geneva Cemetery. The Nebraska Signal May 25th, 1961 page 9.
